Allium cepa (Garden Onion) is a species of perennial herb in the family Amaryllidaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Sceliphron destillatorium, Black and Yellow Mud Dauber, Western Bumble Bee, and weevils. Individuals can grow to 0.43 m.
