Sciomystis is a genus of moths belonging to the family Tineidae.[1] It contains only one species, Sciomystis amynias, which is found in India.
The wingspan is 9–10 mm. The forewings are elongate and dark fuscous. The hindwings and cilia are rather dark fuscous.[2]

Sciomystis amynias is een vlinder uit de familie van de echte motten (Tineidae).[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1919 door Meyrick.
