The carapace has an obtuse protrusion in the front. Eyes large, bases lie close to each other. The scaphocerite of the antennae is longer than the stalk of the antennules, its length exceeds its width by 4 times. Telson is trapeze shaped, its terminal end carries 4 spines and 2 plumose setae in the center. Exopodites of the uropods are longer than the endopodites. Pleopods of males are biramous, shaped for swimming.
