Miniopterus schreibersii (Common Bentwing Bat) is a species of bats in the family Miniopteridae. It is listed as near threatened by IUCN. It is found in Australasia, the Indo-Malayan Realm, the Afrotropics, and the Palearctic. Common Bentwing Bat is an invertivore. Individuals are known to live for 168 months and can grow to 12.5 g. Reproduction is viviparous and dioecious. Common Bentwing Bat relies on flight to move around.
