Allium trachycoleum is a rare and shy plant. It occurs in Mt Hermon, 1700-2100 m. The stem is rather high (50-70cm tall) but the whitish flowering head is camouflaged by the dry-bright mountain slopes. The identifying character is its scabrous-rough leaves. I asked my friends to shade the background with their bodies and got this contrast.
