Hymenopappus scabiosaeus (Carolina Woollywhite) is a species of biennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and North America. They have broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Satyrium favonius. Individuals can grow to 7 dm.
