Clarkia purpurea (Winecup Clarkia) is a species of annual herb in the family Onagraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Halictus tripartitus, Osmia nemoris, Acmaeodera connexa, and Mitoura gryneus. Individuals can grow to 0.4 m.
