Guadua trinii is a species of perennial herb in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Neotropics, Rio Grande Do Sul, SãO Paulo, Minas Gerais, Mata Atlântica, Cerrado, and Santa Catarina. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Bombus pauloensis, Honey bee, Toxomerus politus, and Trigona spinipes.
