They are native to Mato Grosso Do Sul, Sergipe, SãO Paulo, Piauí, Alagoas, Bahia, Santa Catarina, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, Maranhao, Paraná, Rio Grande Do Sul, Rio Grande Do Norte, Pará, Ceará, GoiáS, Mata Atlântica, Mato Grosso, Cerrado, ParaíBa, Espirito Santo, The Contiguous United States, Amazônia, Distrito Federal, Pampa, Caatinga, Pantanal, and Rio De Janeiro. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.16 m.
