Bistorta officinalis officinalis (Common Bistort) is a subspecies of perennial herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Early bumblebee, Small garden bumblebee, Buff-tailed bumblebee, and Common carder bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 0.52 m.
