Farsetia longisiliqua is a perennial shrub that reaches up to 40-80 cm high with a woody base and richly branched stems. Leaves are linear. Flowers are pink or pale yellow fading to purple and arranged in lax 8- to 15-flowered racemes. The fruit is a narrowly oblong siliqua with winged seeds.
