Lasthenia californica (California Goldfields) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Western North America, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Callophrys augustinus, Panurginus occidentalis, Andrena caerulea, and Euphydryas editha.
