Galaxea horrescens (Scalpel Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Euphylliidae. Dead Scalpel Coral form shallow marine sediments. Scalpel Coral form marine reefs. They have asexual reproduction, alternation of generations, and sexual reproduction. They have parental care (brooding). They are sessile animals.
