Eyes lack ommatidia and pigment, are fused together to form a wide plate with a rounded front edge. The length of scaphocerite of the antennae exceeds its width by 3; the length of the smooth outer edge (up to the spikе) makes up approximately 3/4 of the total length of the scaphocerite. Pleopods of the males are biramous, of the swimming type. Body is clear, with scattered red spots.
