Waiporia chathamensis Forster & Platnick 1985

Waiporia chathamensis est une espèce d'araignées aranéomorphes de la famille des Orsolobidae^[1].

Distribution

Cette espèce est endémique des îles Chatham en Nouvelle-Zélande^[1].

Description

Le mâle holotype mesure 2,64 mm et la femelle paratype 3,05 mm^[2].

Étymologie

Son nom d'espèce, composé de chatham et du suffixe latin -ensis, « qui vit dans, qui habite », lui a été donné en référence au lieu de sa découverte, les îles Chatham.
