Leymus flavescens (Yellow Wildrye) is a species of perennial grass in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 3 feet.
