Jania subulata (Ellis & Solander) Sonder 1848

Jania subulata is a species of red algae in the family Corallinaceae. They are native to SãO Paulo, Piauí, Pernambuco, Minas Gerais, Rio Grande Do Norte, Rio De Janeiro, ParaíBa, Bahia, Alagoas, Ceará, Sergipe, Espirito Santo, and Maranhao. Dead Jania subulata form shallow marine sediments.
