Diversitas et distributio
Prototheoridae tredecim species nunc notas comprehendunt, in singulo genere (Prototheora), in Africa Australi (Kristensen 1999:60; Nielsen et al. 2000), vel ad Angolam (Prototheora angolae) et Mulanje Massif Malavii endemico (Davis 2001).
