Heterotheca rutteri (Rutter's False Goldenaster) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to North America and The Contiguous United States. They have achene. Flowers are visited by Dianthidium, Nomia, Calliopsis, and Pseudopanurgus.
