Hemidactylus frenatus (Common House Gecko) is a species of Squamata in the family geckos. They are native to Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, India, Seychelles, Thailand, and Sri Lanka. They visit flowers of Ixora pudica. They are nocturnal. Individuals can grow to 51.4 mm. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is oviparous. They rely on running to move around.
