Eristalinus aeneus (Syrphid Fly) is a species of flies in the family Syrphidae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They visit flowers of Hemp-agrimony, Salix caprea, Foeniculum vulgare, and Sinapis incana. They are diurnal. Individuals can grow to 9 mm.
