They are native to United States, Bulgaria, Iceland, Lebanon, Iraq, Azerbaijan, Syria, Kazakhstan, Yugoslavia, Estonia, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Tunisia, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Albania, Georgia, Russia, Turkmenistan, Latvia, Lithuania, Libya, Romania, Switzerland, Italy, Cyprus, France, Faroe Islands, United Kingdom, Sweden, Tajikistan, Finland, Pakistan, Morocco, Belgium, Moldova, Algeria, Armenia, Austria, Iran, Turkey, Ukraine, Denmark, Poland, Germany, Israel, Egypt, Norway, The Netherlands, Hungary, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Czech Republic, Afghanistan, and Greece. They have compound, broad leaves and white flowers. Individuals can grow to 28 cm.
