Stylosanthes guianensis (Common Stylo) is a species of shrub in the family Fabaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Rio De Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Maranhao, Pará, AmazôNia, Paraná, Mato Grosso, Caatinga, Sergipe, Mato Grosso, SãO Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, Maranhao, Cerrado, Minas Gerais, Pampa, Espirito Santo, GoiáS, Pará, Alagoas, Pernambuco, ParaíBa, Ceará, AmazôNia, Mata AtlâNtica, Cerrado, Tocantins, AmazôNia, Paraná, Caatinga, Pernambuco, GoiáS, Pantanal, Espirito Santo, SãO Paulo, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Mata AtlâNtica, Roraima, Bahia, Distrito Federal, Bahia, Distrito Federal, Rio Grande Do Norte, Ceará, Santa Catarina, Amapá, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Alagoas, Sergipe, and Piauí. They have compound, compound leaves. Flowers are visited by Nomia gorytoides and Thrinchostoma sjoestedti. Individuals can grow to 0.47 m.
