Parkia nitida is a species of tree in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Amazônia, RondôNia, Roraima, Acre (Brazil), Pará, Maranhao, and Amapá. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 34 m.
