Inga vera (River Koko) is a species of tree in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Mato Grosso Do Sul, ParaíBa, Roraima, Rio Grande Do Sul, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso, Amazônia, Bahia, Santa Catarina, Puerto Rico, Piauí, Pará, Pernambuco, Tocantins, SãO Paulo, Paraná, RondôNia, Acre (Brazil), Espirito Santo, Distrito Federal, Amapá, GoiáS, Ceará, Rio De Janeiro, and Maranhao. They have compound, broad leaves and white flowers. Individuals can grow to 19 m.
