They are native to Amapá, Mato Grosso, Pará, Pantanal, GoiáS, Amazônia, Roraima, Piauí, Sergipe, Mata Atlântica, Espirito Santo, Bahia, RondôNia, Puerto Rico, ParaíBa, Rio Grande Do Norte, Rio De Janeiro, Alagoas, Pampa, Maranhao, Acre (Brazil), Distrito Federal, Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Paraná, Pernambuco, Rio Grande Do Sul, SãO Paulo, Cerrado, Tocantins, Ceará, and Minas Gerais. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.11 m.
