Astragalus whitneyi (Balloon Milk Vetch) is a species of perennial herb in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States. They have broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Vanessa cardui, Hunt Bumble Bee, yellowjackets, hornets, and paper wasps, and Pseudomasaris vespoides. Individuals can grow to 2 dm.
