Licania octandra is a species of tree in the family Chrysobalanaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Cerrado, Mata Atlântica, The Neotropics, Caatinga, and Amazônia. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 17 m.
