Sanguisorba officinalis (Great Burnet) is a species of perennial herb in the family Rosaceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Western North America, Canada, Alaska, and North America. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Phengaris teleius, Phengaris nausithous, Platycheirus peltatus, and Marmalade hoverfly.
