Eriobotrya japonica (Loquat) is a species of tree in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Buff-tailed bumblebee, Common carder bumblebee, Apis mellifera, and White-tipped Black. Individuals can grow to 6.3 m.
