They are native to Puerto Rico, SãO Paulo, Mato Grosso, Mata AtlâNtica, Minas Gerais, Acre (Brazil), AmazôNia, Paraná, Ceará, AmazôNia, Espirito Santo, Roraima, Bahia, Rio De Janeiro, Amapá, Alagoas, Tocantins, Pernambuco, RondôNia, Maranhao, and Pará. They have alternation of generations.
