Ocotea leucoxylon (Loblolly Sweetwood) is a species of tree in the family Lauraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Maranhao, AmazôNia, U.S. Virgin Islands, Bahia, Acre (Brazil), Mata AtlâNtica, Minas Gerais, Puerto Rico, Tocantins, Rio De Janeiro, Pará, and AmazôNia. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 80 feet. Reproduction is dioecious.
