Ocotea leucoxylon (Loblolly Sweetwood) is a species of tree in the family Lauraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Amazônia, Minas Gerais, U.S. Virgin Islands, Rio De Janeiro, Mata Atlântica, Pará, Maranhao, Puerto Rico, Bahia, Acre (Brazil), and Tocantins. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 80 feet.
