They are native to Puerto Rico, The Contiguous United States, Distrito Federal, Roraima, GoiáS, Paraná, Cerrado, ParaíBa, Pernambuco, Ceará, Caatinga, Tocantins, Minas Gerais, SãO Paulo, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Alagoas, Mato Grosso, Sergipe, Santa Catarina, Rio De Janeiro, Bahia, Pantanal, Rio Grande Do Norte, AmazôNia, AmazôNia, Amapá, Espirito Santo, Pampa, Maranhao, RondôNia, Mata AtlâNtica, Rio Grande Do Sul, and Pará. They have pinnate, pinnate leaves. They have alternation of generations.
