Equisetum sylvaticum (Wood Horsetail) is a species of perennial herb in the family horsetails. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, The Contiguous United States, Greenland, Canada, United States, and Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon. They have simple, photosynthetic stem leaves and green flowers. Individuals can grow to 0.34 m. They have alternation of generations.
