Ranunculus hispidus (Bristly Buttercup) is a species of perennial herb in the family Ranunculaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves, yellow flowers, and achenes. Individuals can grow to 2.5 feet.
