Boehmeria cylindrica (Smallspike False Nettle) is a species of shrub in the family Urticaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Santa Catarina, The Contiguous United States, Sergipe, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Ceará, Rio Grande Do Sul, Mata Atlântica, ParaíBa, Pantanal, Mato Grosso, Eastern North America, RondôNia, Minas Gerais, Caatinga, Espirito Santo, Rio Grande Do Norte, Pernambuco, Distrito Federal, SãO Paulo, Piauí, Cerrado, Paraná, Maranhao, GoiáS, North America, Bahia, Alagoas, Rio De Janeiro, Canada, and Puerto Rico. They have simple, broad leaves, yellow flowers, and achenes. Flowers are visited by Polistes bellicosus. Individuals can grow to 3.9 feet.
