Malacothamnus fasciculatus (Chaparral Bushmallow) is a species of shrub in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves and loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Diadasia diminuta, Diadasia ochracea, Black Tail Bumble Bee, and Honey bee. Individuals can grow to 2.2 m.
