Kalmia latifolia (Calico Bush) is a species of shrub in the family Ericaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Eastern North America, North America, The Contiguous United States, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves, purple flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Papilio appalachiensis and White Slant-Line. Individuals can grow to 9.1 m.
