Syringa vulgaris (Lilac) is a species of tree in the family Oleaceae. It is associated with freshwater habitat. It has simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Scarce Swallowtail, Northern Cloudywing, Red Admiral, and Hummingbird Clearwing. It is a photoautotroph.
