Coreopsis lanceolata (Lanceleaf Tickseed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Eastern North America, Canada, The Contiguous United States, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Striped Bromeliad Fly, Gray Hairstreak, Nomad Bees, and Dolichogyna abrupta. Individuals can grow to 2 feet.
