Bartsia alpina (Velvetbells) is a species of perennial herb in the family Orobanchaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada and Greenland. They have simple, simple leaves. Flowers are visited by Bombus, Syritta pipiens, Platycheirus albimanus, and Rhingia campestris. Individuals can grow to 0.12 m.
