Persicaria amphibia is a species of perennial herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Canada, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Libytheana carinenta, Chalcosyrphus nemorum, Cynomyia, and Danaus plexippus. Individuals can grow to 0.5 m.
