Mentzelia albicaulis (Tropical Blazingstar) is a species of shrub in the family Loasaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Ceará, Caatinga, Alagoas, Bahia, Rio Grande Do Norte, Pará, AmazôNia, Pantanal, Sergipe, Canada, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, ParaíBa, The Americas, and Cerrado. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Carpenter Bees.
