Claytonia lanceolata is a species of perennial herb in the family Miner's lettuce. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Osmia, flower flies, Bombus melanopygus, and Eupeodes lapponicus. Individuals can grow to 1 dm.
