Rhododendron lapponicum (Lapland Rosebay) is a species of shrub in the family Ericaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to Canada, Greenland, Alaska, Alaska, the contiguous United States, and eastern north america. Lapland Rosebay has simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Olethreutes inquietana Walker 1863. Lapland Rosebay is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 4 feet.
