Armeria maritima (Thrift Seapink) is a species of perennial herb in the family Plumbaginaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, Greenland, Canada, South America, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Small Copper, Hoplitis claviventris, Andrena similis, and Osmia aurulenta. Individuals can grow to 0.9 feet.
