Armeria maritima (Thrift Seapink) is a species of perennial herb in the family Plumbaginaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, The Contiguous United States, South America, Canada, and Greenland. They have simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Syrphid fly, Honey bee, Hoplitis claviventris, and Megachile leaf-cutter bee. Individuals can grow to 0.9 feet.
