Armeria maritima is a species of perennial herb in the family Leadworts. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Greenland, Alaska, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Erynnis tages, Apis mellifera, Megachile centuncularis, and Lasioglossum morio. Individuals can grow to 0.9 feet.
