Gomphrena globosa (Globe Amaranth) is a species of annual herb in the family Amaranthaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Polites peckius, Strymon yojoa, Long-tailed Skipper, and Hylephila phyleus.
