Persicaria punctata (Dotted Smartweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Puerto Rico, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Pseudoplisus, Chalcosyrphus nemorum, Typocerus lugubris, and Calleida punctata. Individuals can grow to 0.15 m.
