Menyanthes trifoliata (Bogbean) is a species of perennial herb in the family Menyanthaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, The Contiguous United States, Greenland, Alaska, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Apis mellifera, Platycheirus, and Neoascia. Individuals can grow to 0.8 feet.
