Herissantia crispa (Bladdermallow) is a species of shrub in the family Malvaceae. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, the contiguous United States, Sergipe, Cerrado, Pernambuco, Caatinga, Alagoas, and Bahia. Bladdermallow has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Polybia paulista Ihering 1896. Bladdermallow is a photoautotroph.
